Payment & Health Fund Info

Our clinic and procedural charges are determined by the complexity, time spent and materials used

To assist your financial planning, we will give you an outline of treatment options and cost at your examination appointment.qq

Quotes for dental work over the phone prior to your initial appointment are an estimate or guide only and may change after your detailed assessment has been completed by one of our Dentist.

If you have health fund cover – HICAPS is available with links to most health funds. This allows the health fund portion of your account to be processed on the spot using your health fund card.

For children aged 4-15 years who are treated by our Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist we accept your health fund rebate as the total payment for all routine dental work.

For more complex procedures or if your health fund limit has been reached, there could be an out of pocket expense for your child’s treatment.

If you are not in a health fund and your child is treated by one of our Therapist’s we charge at a reduced children’s fee.

Veteran Affairs Patients

We value treating our veteran patients, ensuring that they are given appointment times that are suitable to their lifestyle and medical requirements. When possible, we offer local veteran patients a lift home after their treatment if required.

We are happy to accept the Veterans’ Department cheque as total payment for treatment.

Cancellations or Missed Appointments

Practice Policy
Because our business relies on reserved appointments, and we have dedicated our resources exclusively for you we require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations.

Please advise us as soon as possible if you cannot attend an appointment. This allows us to offer your appointment to someone else who may need urgent treatment. Since we turn away other patients to hold your appointment, any missed appointments or last minute cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee. Our cancellation fee is $200 for ½ hour appointments and $300 for 1-hour appointments.

Please understand that we consider this a last resort, with the real motivating factor being our concern for the quality of service we are able to provide you. We will always try to contact you two days before your appointment as a reminder.

We thank you for your understanding and consideration.
