Payment & Health Fund Info
Our clinic and procedural charges are determined by the complexity, time spent and materials used
To assist your financial planning, we will give you an outline of treatment options and cost at your examination appointment.
Quotes for dental work over the phone prior to your initial appointment are an estimate or guide only and may change after your detailed assessment has been completed by one of our Dentist.
If you have health fund cover – HICAPS is available with links to most health funds. This allows the health fund portion of your account to be processed on the spot using your health fund card.
For children aged 4-15 years who are treated by our Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist we accept your health fund rebate as the total payment for all ROUTINE dental work.
For more COMPLEX procedures or if your health fund limit has been reached, there could be an out of pocket expense for your child’s treatment.
If you are not in a health fund and your child is treated by one of our Therapist’s we charge at a reduced children’s fee.
Child Dental Benefit Scheme
The Government offer up to $1000 for certain dental treatments over a two year period for children aged between 2 – 17 years.
Please contact us soon to see if your child is eligible to receive this free dental treatment before it expires!
Veteran Affairs Patients
We value treating our veteran patients, ensuring that they are given appointment times that are suitable to their lifestyle and medical requirements. When possible, we offer local veteran patients a lift home after their treatment if required.
We are happy to accept the Veterans Department cheque as total payment for treatment.
Payment is required on the day of treatment. In some cases for more major work we require payment prior to treatment being completed.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, Cash or Cheque
Whilst we do not offer accounts, for patients requiring extensive or comprehensive treatment we do offer GE Care Credit with 6 months interest free finance. This is available for patients who qualify.
Cancellation or ‘No Shows’
We require 24 hours notice if cancelling an appointment – we realise that emergencies do occur when this may not be possible.
A fee may be charged for serial short notice cancellations or repeated broken appointments.
